Capture Namibia’s “Living Fossil” and Otherworldly Landscapes
This unique photo tour is a favourite among photographers and nature lovers alike. Explore the dramatic Moon Landscape, discover the ancient Welwitschia plant, and wander through the stark valleys and riverbeds that have inspired filmmakers and explorers for centuries.

"Our cruise ship stopped in Walvis Bay and I chose this tour because it offered more at a better price than the ship excursions. We saw the landscapes where Mad Max was filmed, ostriches, and the bizarre Welwitschia plant. Even had time to explore Swakopmund! Highly organised and excellent value."
The Legendary Welwitschia
-
Known as a “living fossil”, Welwitschia is found only in the Namib Desert.
-
Each plant has just two leaves that grow continuously for thousands of years.
-
Some plants are over 2,000 years old.
-
No taller than 1.5m, but with leaf spans exceeding 8m at ground level.
A must-see subject for nature and photography lovers.
