What You Can Expect
This full-day photo safari is designed for guests who want to capture the best light of the day, from sunrise through to sunset.
Your tour has a flexible starting time, with the route planned around natural light, tide conditions and the best photographic opportunities available on the day.
The journey may include the flamingos of Walvis Bay, depending on the season, as well as the pink salt lakes before making your way towards the dune belt south of Walvis Bay.
If the tide and timing allow, you will continue to Sandwich Harbour, one of Namibia’s most iconic landscapes, where massive dunes meet the Atlantic Ocean. Here, you can enjoy refreshments while taking in the dramatic coastal desert scenery.
You will also visit the Cape Fur Seal colony at Pelican Point, either in the morning or afternoon depending on the ocean tide and conditions on the day.
Along the way, your guide will use their local knowledge to take you to some of the best viewpoints, dunes, desert vistas and photographic locations in the area.
Please note that this is not a photography workshop. However, your guide has first-hand knowledge of the best views, landscapes and desert scenes to photograph.

Access to Sandwich Harbour depends on tide, weather and timing. If conditions do not allow access, alternative viewpoints and scenic locations will be included.
